Design Conference and Awards 2025

Just a few days ago we held our 2025 Design Conference and Awards to present design solutions, share ideas, best practice and understand the current marketplace of design in the corrugated sector.

David Richardson, CEO, was delighted to welcome designers and senior team members from all businesses within the group.

In addition to a number of speakers, each design team was required to present at least one innovative design from the last twelve months and share with colleagues the brief from the customer, the challenges, the design and the outcome.

David Richardson commented; “We had a whole day of information and idea sharing with some great questions and debate taking place surrounding corrugated design and how best we can support our diverse customer base with innovative designs.

“The teams showcased a wide selection of designs from supply chain and transit solutions to high quality printed gift and point of sale displays reinforcing just how adaptable and capable our designers and manufacturing sites are and how they support UK businesses with some of the best packaging solutions in the market.”

Joint winning awards were given to Challenge Packaging and Jardin Corrugated, whilst Highly Commended awards were given to the teams from Boxes and Packaging (Oxford), Red Rose Packaging and Cardboard Box Company.

David concluded; “Our teams showed how very capable they are, and how they flex and bend to give our customers just what they need, meeting and often exceeding the briefs provided.

“Our customers should feel very reassured that we can support them with packaging which achieves their goals and delivers a positive outcome.”
