Durham Box unveil amazing digital die cutter

Durham Box has become the first UK packaging company to acquire the Highcon Beam 2C digital die-cutting system.

The investment reinforces Logson Group and Durham Box’s commitment to innovation and expansion, particularly in the e-commerce packaging sector. This state-of-the-art addition will enable Durham Box to streamline its production processes, enhance design flexibility and improve efficiency in meeting customer demands.

A digital cutting and creasing solution the Highcon Beam 2C can process corrugated board from 1-4mm – F E B C Flute including double wall EF and EE flute at speeds of up to 4,000 sheets per hour.

The investment has greatly increased the capabilities of Durham Box and the Logson Group and is already proving a great asset for customers seeking smaller volume, very high-quality corrugated packaging.

The Highcon Beam 2C is installed at Durham Box’s 120,000 sq. ft. Bishop Auckland facility, complementing their impressive machinery portfolio which also includes an EFI Nozomi single-pass corrugated printer.
