Boxshop and The Cardboard Box Company scoop awards at FIA 2026

Teams from Boxshop and The Cardboard Box Company have been named as award winners at the recent Flexographic Industry Awards (FIA).

In a glittering ceremony at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool, representatives from both businesses and colleagues from Board24 Eurocentral attended to hear the results unveiled.

Boxshop, located in East Kilbride entered two projects into the Corrugated – Uncoated post print line and screen, and one into the Corrugated – Coated post print line and screen and one in the Promotional Packaging Category.

The Boxshop team were received a Gold Award in the Promotional Packaging Category for an eye-catching postal mailer pack they created for their own use; sending samples to customers.

The design features drone photography of their manufacturing facility in East Kilbride and is a stunning representation of the brand and the business for customers, showcasing the high-quality print they can achieve.

It has been manufactured on the BOBST Expertflex, a high-quality post print machine capable of up to six colour flexographic print.

The CBC team, located in Accringron, was awarded a Silver Awards in the Corrugated Post Print – Uncoated Section for an eye-catching 5 colour print mattress box.

The design features fine reverse out tone detail whilst keeping a good strong solid print on the dominant blue colour and proved to be a particularly technical challenge. It was a varied mix of artwork and logos, including two non-brand logos which brought extra colours and detail to the mix.

The pack was manufactured on the Bobst 1624 Expert Flex a high-quality post print machine capable of up to six colour flexographic print.
