Introducing Board24

Board24 is the sheet feeding division of Logson Group manufacturing a wide range of corrugated boards from its sites in Coalville, Preston and Eurocentral.

In its operational history it has been owned by many, now defunct, packaging groups with Logson acquiring the sites in 2008 from Mondi Board.

Its newest site is at Eurocentral in Scotland, which replaced its Larkhall site, opening in early 2024. It is home to the UKs newest corrugator that can manufacture up to 100msqm of board a year.

Independent and proud

As the UKs only independent packaging group and sheet feeders, Board24 is in the unique position of responding to, and in many ways shaping, the corrugated board sector in the UK.

Working with many of the sheet plants in the UK and Ireland, it supplies high quality board, just-in-time to assist with the sheet plant production schedules.

Because of its independence and agile management structure, decisions about everything from day-to-day operational procedures to strategic investments are made in a considered and responsive way, giving it a great advantage of some of its multi-national competitors and driving forward positive customer engagement.

Corrugator capabilities

Board24 operates five corrugators across its sites, two at Coalville, two at Preston and one at Eurocentral.

All run on a 24/5 operation and have skilled operators, trained to balance machine output and performance with product quality.

All five corrugators are subject to ongoing maintenance and investment to future proof production and ensure they operate efficiently.

Just recently, one of the corrugators at Preston underwent key component replacements which has successfully allowed its upscale in production as a result.

Away from the machines, the business is also heavily focused on reducing its carbon footprint, establishing and developing its ESG goals in line with the wider Logson Group and defining its sustainability for the future of the business.

It has a superb apprenticeship programme and indeed, at its Coalville site won the Manufacturing Future Talent Award at the 2025 Made in the Midlands Awards. Two of its apprentices made the final for Apprentice of the year and two of its employees were shortlisted at the inaugural Women in Packaging Awards 2025.

Its team receives support to develop their skills and careers with the business and are encouraged to access the training on offer, which encompasses a wide variety of courses from IHASCO to leadership development.
