Logson sales teams gather for biennial conference

What do an AI entrepreneur, a premiership winning Director of Rugby and a packaging sales team have in common?
They were all involved in our bi-annual Logson Group Sales conference, held just a few days ago at the peaceful Ansty Hall Hotel in the heart of the English countryside.
Team members from all group brands were in attendance to focus on three key objectives: Building Relationships, Sharing Knowledge, and Challenging Mindsets and tasks and keynote speakers featured during the day to encourage thought and discussion around the objectives.
Ably hosted by Alice Thorneycroft, the days activities began with an energiser activity to showcase the depth of experience the group has, as well as the newer employees bringing a fresh perspective to the business. It was established that combined, the two are hugely powerful.
“Our sales conference was about provoking thought and inspiring our teams to look at how they work and understand how small changes can lead onto ever greater success even for our most experienced team members,“ said David Richardson, CEO, Logson Group. “This is why we selected two carefully considered keynote speakers who know all about change, and how it can impact positively when delivered in the correct way.“
Keith Dear, Owner of AI business Cassi enlightened the team as to how AI could help them to do their roles and understand the market place both now and in the future.
Later on in the day, after the main conference and with a cold drink in hand, Phil Dowson, Director of Rugby at Northampton Saints and current title holders of the Premiership, inspired the team with tales of how he coaches and motivates his team so they can excel as individuals and as a collective; principles which are easily translated into both the packaging sales and business arena.
David added; “Today was about a small reset for our sales team and for us to be open-minded as to how we blend our great experience with a new world.
“It is important that we all value what we do, understand the sales landscape for the next few years and be adaptable to navigate it successfully.“
