A fond farewell to Bob McLellan

At the end of 2023, the Chairman of Logson Group, Bob McLellan, will retire.

Bob has had a long and prosperous career in the corrugated packaging industry and joined us twelve years ago upon his retirement from the ‘day job’ with DS Smith where he held the position of CEO.

During his tenure with us he has had a hugely positive influence on the business and its people and has been a considerable help providing consistent strategic guidance, leadership, and industry wisdom.

Notable milestones include the acquisition of the business by W&R Barnett in 2015, key business investments, acquisitions, and the transition in group leadership from Alex Kelly to David Richardson in 2022.

“On behalf of Logson Board, I offer Bob my sincere thanks for all his help and support to the team and I and the wider business where I know he has had a positive influence on so many others,” said David Richardson, CEO, Logson Group. “His contribution and commitment to Logson Group has been invaluable and I wish Bob a healthy and happy retirement.”

The Logson board will take time to reflect on a decision to replace Bob, and will make the necessary announcements in due course.
