Logson Group, the largest independent corrugated packaging group in the UK, and owner of Boxes and Packaging, Board24, Cases24 and inspirepac has been shortlisted for ‘Business of the Year’ in the 2013 Private Business Awards.

The awards celebrate the best of private business in the country and highlight the achievements of individuals and companies, recognising the importance of private business to the UK economy.
Alex Kelly, Logson CEO, commented: “We are thrilled to be shortlisted in the ‘Private Business of the Year’ category at this year’s Private Business Awards. Last year, we were nominated in the ‘Rising Star of the Year’ category so this year’s recognition reflects our team’s success in continuing to deliver excellent and sustainable performance over the past 12 months. With strong foundations in place, we can confidently plan for future growth, both organically and via acquisitions, to further enhance our customer offering.”

The Private Business Awards are sponsored by PwC, in association with HSBC Private Bank, and in support of LEAP, which is a registered charity that transforms the lives of young people and jobless adults by helping them overcome their circumstances to fulfill their potential and to play a fuller role in society. Last year, £5,835 was raised at the Private Business Awards.

The winners of the Private Business Awards will be announced at a dinner to be held at The Guildhall, London on the 11th September 2013.
